🔹 1. What is the UGC NET Yoga exam?
The UGC NET Yoga exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) 🏛️ to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor 👩🏫👨🏫 and/or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in the field of Yoga 🧘♀️.
🔹 2. How many papers are there in the UGC NET Yoga exam?
There are two papers in the current pattern:
- Paper-I 🧠: General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude (50 MCQs)
- Paper-II 🧘: Subject-specific (Yoga) – 100 MCQs
🔹 3. Are the previous year question papers still useful with the new pattern?
Yes! ✅ While the format has changed slightly over the years, practicing with previous year question papers helps you understand the type of questions, topic trends, and improves your time management ⏳ during the actual exam.
🔹 4. Why are there no descriptive papers (Paper-III) included after 2012?
From 2012 onwards, UGC changed the exam structure to include only objective type questions (MCQs). If you still need the old Paper-III descriptive papers, feel free to contact us 💌 — we’ll help you out!

🔹 6. When did UGC start conducting NET in Yoga?
UGC officially started the NET Yoga exam from January 2017 🗓️. That’s why Yoga-specific papers are available from 2017 onwards 📚.
🔹 7. How often is the NET exam held?
The UGC NET exam is conducted twice a year – typically in June and December 🗓️✅.
